About

Hi there. You probably know me as @stitchedinthemiddle on Instagram and Facebook, and as Stitched-Middle on Ravelry.

You can call me Friday.

I’m a neurodivergent queer individual passionate about all fiber related crafts, knitting being the main one. I also weave and spin yarn, and occasionally attempt to sew my own wardrobe.

I started knitting back in 2014, in the midst of a professional burn-out. Since then, knitting and fiber craft have been what has helped me trying to keep my shit together.

It also allowed me to find my own little community of people and to be able to grow as a person through the many important conversations going on regarding human rights, feminism, anti-racism, intersectionality, inclusivity and diversity.

Those values have also impacted my way of looking at my day job as a UX/UI designer, through which I also advocate for accessible and inclusive product.
